Am. Fork Man Dies
American Fork - Ellis Maximillian Parker, 72, American Fork, died Friday in the American Fork Hospital. He was born Feb. 6, 1898, in American Fork, a son of Franklin M. and Martha Mitchell Parker.
He married Alice Searle on Nov. 24, 1920, in the Salt Lake Temple. Mr. Parker was a farmer and also worked at the Utah State Training School for 12 years and for Nye and Nesson Processing Plant for several years. He was a member of the LDS Church and served in the American Fork Third Ward Elders Quorum presidency for several years.
Survivors include his widow, American Fork; three daughters and four sons, Mrs. Edward (Ann) Davis, Preston, Ida.; Mrs. Lyle (Bonnie) Smith, Provo; Mrs. Alan (Ruth) Hunter, Ellis S., Lee J., Cecil M. and Grant N. Parker, all of American Fork; 27 grandchildren; one great grandchild; one brother and two sisters, Leslie (Let) Parker, Alice Parker and Mrs. Leslie (Ruby) Searle, all of American Fork.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the American Fork Third Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Anderson and Sons Mortuary tonight from 7 to 9 o'clock and Monday from noon until 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in the American Fork Cemetery.
