Mr. Bennett was a native of this county, being born near Long Lane in 1854. In early manhood he was married to Miss Sarah Tadlock, who with six children, survives him. The children are: Rev. W. R. Bennett of Arlington; Claude, James, George and Ben and Mrs. May McArron, all of Long Lane.
Mr. Bennett was an industrious, honorable citizen and in the words of a man who was born and raised on an adjoining farm, "the county had no better man."
Funeral services and interment will be held today.

When Beverly Allen BENNETT was born on November 29, 1855, his father, William, was 26 and his mother, Arminta, was 25. He married Sarah Lucinda TADLOCK on September 8, 1879, in Long Lane, Missouri. They had six children in 19 years. He died on November 25, 1919, in Long Lane, Missouri, at the age of 63, and was buried there.
