Anna Maria possibly was the daughter of Johann Wendel George Traut (b. abt. 1689 possibly in the Netherlands) and Maria Magdalena Walter (b. in Strasburg, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania).
She was married about 1770 to Balthasar/Balthaser/Baltzer Romberger and was the mother of seven children.
It is possible but not proven that these were her parents:
Johann Wendel Georg Traut and Maria Magdelena Walter Traut.
The past and present historians of the Romberger Family Association have not established a definitive link to these potential parents of hers, though the connection is fairly compelling. Likewise, the Rootsweb genealogy of the FindAGrave contributor Craig H. Trout who has the couple on this site as well as at Rootsweb does not connect any of their daughters to the Romberger family. More evidence is needed to establish the connection.
