Sergeant 1804820 Gunn, Air Bomber, RAF, was the son of Edwin and Edith Gunn, of North Harrow, Middlesex.

He died on 14th January 1945, on board Wellington Bomber MF 116 from RAF Wing, Buckinghamshire. The aircraft was on a cross-country exercise when it struck the ground and broke up at Holt Farm, Sketchley south of Hinckly, Leicestershire. He was 22.
