Evelyn Ann Cook Aycoth
MONROE - Evelyn Cook Aycoth, 65, died Thursday, January 10, 2008, at Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Monroe. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Prospect United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Ben Wilson and Rev. Steve Phillippi. The family will receive friends following the service in the Family Life Center.
Born March 14, 1942, in Union County, she was a daughter of Cam T. Cook of Monroe and the late Avis M. Cook. She was retired as an accountant.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert D. Aycoth and son Jeffrey Richardson. Survivors, in addition to her father, include one daughter, Monica Richardson and one son, Cameron Richardson, both of Monroe; and one stepson, David Aycoth of Mt. Pleasant, NC; two brothers, Ray Cook and Waymon Cook, and one sister, Jane McWhorter, all of Monroe; three grandchildren and five step-grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
