Son of Hans Heinrich and Gertrude Becker. Husband of Audrey J Young. Veteran of WWII, first lieutenant. Served in Oklahoma and Mississippi after training in Ft Leonard Wood, Missouri. Received Purple Heart Award and Silver Star Award. Died at the Battle of the Bulge in France. Oscar died 4 days after his only child, a son, was born. It is unlikely that he knew about the birth since he went missing before the birth occurred.


He was awarded the Silver Star and Purple Heart
