Mrs. Borchert was the personnel director at the Nebraska Department of Banking. Mrs. Borchert was a member of First Lutheran Church.
She was born in Topeka to Herman and Dorothy Bieker Burghart.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Borchert, Lincoln; three daughters, Jennifer Borchert and Kathryn Montague, and her husband, Joe, both of Topeka, and Jaime Borchert, Lincoln; her mother, Dorothy Burghart, Topeka; a brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Kim Burghart, Newton, Kan.; a sister, Linda Hart, Topeka; and grandchildren, Mackenzie Munroe, Morgan Borchert, Kimberly Borchert, Connor Montague & Nicole Montague
Mrs. Borchert was preceded in death by her father.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at First Lutheran Church in Lincoln. Burial will be in Wyuka Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2 to 9 p.m. today and 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Roper and Sons Funeral Home in Lincoln, & afternoon Thursday at the church.
