Rutledge, Tenn. - Grace M. Dalton,age 78 went to be with Jesus Jan. 29, 2004, at St. Mary's Hospices Residential Hospital.

She was a member of Sunrise Baptist Church and long-time employee of Citizen Bank & Trust Co. of Rutledge.

Grace was preceded in death by her husband, S. Curtis Dalton; brothers, David and Calvin Koelder; father, Kino Koelder; mother Eva Koelder, and mother-in-law, Sarah Maples.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, C. Wayne and Lois Dalton, Richard and Glenna Dalton, and Norma and Eddie Tate; her brothers, Leon Koelder of Cotton Center and Ervin Koelder of Plainview; sisters-in-law, Patsy Koelder of Groom and Ella Mae Bates of Rutledge; and brother-in-law, Archie Dalton of Seabrook, Del.

Mamaw Grace was a wonderful grandmother and was dearly loved by her grandchildren, Kino Dalton, Chad Tate, Amy Dalton, Jayme Dalton, Rebecca Israel, Brad Tate, Tara Tate,Miranda Black, Jennifer Black, Jamie Daniels, and Paul Daniels.

Mamaw Grace had a greater love than her children and grandchildren and that was her great-grandchildren, Austin, Gracie, and Leah Dalton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and caregiver, Faye Kuhl.

The family will receive friends at Smith Funeral Home in Rutledge from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, with funeral services following at 8 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Darrall Walker and Rev. Stacy Lawson. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb 2, at Sunrise Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to Sunrise Baptist Church Building fund.
