Funeral service for Violet I. Norberg, 76, Spring Lake Park, took place July 19 at Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids. Rev. Del Schnaidt officiated.
Norberg died July 14 in Fridley. She was born June 11, 1934 in Grygla to Jesse Stratton and Nellie Stratton and was the retired malt lady in the lunchroom at Spring Lake Park High School.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn; children, Suzanne Begin of Atlanta, Ga., Amy Jo Norberg of Spring Lake Park and Steven (Maureen) Norberg of Circle Pines; grandchildren, Angela, Tiffany, Amber, Leah and Paige; great-granddaughter, Jaiden; and siblings, Agnes Kujanson, Hazel Samson, Joseph Stratton and Donald Stratton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Nellie Stratton; and siblings, Rachel Johnson, Vivian Kiel, Lillie Blilie, Eddie Stratton, Chester Stratton, Gilbert Stratton, Herman Stratton, Virgil Stratton, Raymond Stratton, Elizabeth Stratton and Leona Stratton.
