The Canby Herald, January 16, 1969, pg 5 Mrs. GUYTON PASSES Mrs. Marian W. Guyton, wife of Dale Guyton of Wilsonville, was given interment in Pleasant Hill cemetery Wednesday following services in Tigard. She died Friday, Jan. 10. Mrs. Guyton leaves three daughters, Sophie Smith, Elizabeth Moree and Susan Guyton; five grandchildren, and two sisters, Agnes Day and Katherine DeAngelo.
(A car accident in the 1960's resulted in her being in a wheelchair.

Marian W. Guyton, late of Rt. 1, Box 1, Wilsonville, died in Newberg Jan. 10, and funeral services were held in Young's Chapel at 10 a.m. Jan 15, with the Rev. Otis Harden officiating. Committal was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Pall bearers were Edward Bloom, Raymond Boeckman, Kenneth Burkes, Thomas Neade, Howard Kraz and James P. Leonard.

Mrs. Guyton was born Sept. 22, 1906, in Kirkwood, Calif., the daughter of Henry and Nellie Walker. She was married to Dale Guyton Nov. 17, 1926 in San Rafael, Calif., and had lived in Wilsonville for 23 years. She was a retired nurse; a member of Wilsonville United Methodist Church; Holly Chapter 126,Order of the Eastern Star; Sunshine Rebekah Lodge 206; and the Wilsonville Garden Club.

Surviving are the widower, Dale Guyton; three daughters, Sophie Smith of Seneca, Elizabeth Moree of Sarasota, Fla., and Susan Guyton of Missoula, Mont., two sisters, Agnes Day of Chico, Calif., and Katherine De Angelo of San Jose, Calif., five grandchildren. Friends who wish may make memorial gifts to Wilsonville Methodist Church.
