Arnold grew up in Eden and Alazan Community. He later moved the family to Beaumont where he worked in the shipyard for 2 years. Then he enlisted in USA ARMY World War II. When he return from war he went to work for the City of Nacogdoches in the Water Dept. where he stayed until he retire. He and his family loved music and singing. Arnold played the fiddle and guitar. Love to sing to his grandchildren. After Hattie passing. He married Billie Jean Kendrick Jinkins Clevenger Tindall. They lived in Nacogdoches until his passing. He rest next to his Ms Hattie at the Eden Cemetery. He served on Eden Cemetery board of trustee for many years and over see to the maintance of the Eden Cemetery.
