Mrs. Charles Sanders Dies At Noon Today From Overdose of Strychine Mrs. Charles Sanders, who resides just east of Athens, died at 1:00 o'clock today after doctors had worked with her for more than an hour in an effort to revive her following the taking of an overdose of strychnine. Doctors Hodge and Webster were hurriedly called to the R.B. Perry home, where Mr. and Mrs. Sanders reside at about twelve o'clock. A glass with a small amount of strychnine remained as mute ecidence that Mrs. Sanders had taken the deadlly poison. Hardly had she swallowed the poison when Mr. Sanders called Physicians. Antidotes to counteract the poison were hurriedly given by the physicans and later she was put to sleep and a stomach pump brought into use but to no avail. Besides her husband, Mrs. Sanders is survived by two children and father and mother.
