Clyde D. Weaver.
Clyde D. Weaver, 604 Keasey St., died Monday morning in his residence after being ill several years. He was born in Buchanan on Jan. 29, 1881, and had lived in South Bend 28 years, coming here from Bertrand, Mich. In 1913 in Niles he married Miss Alma L. Price. Mr. Weaver was a retired Studebaker - Packard Corp. employee. Surviving are his widow; eight sons, L. Willard and Robert D., both of Three Rivers; Allen D. of Vicksburg, Mich., Charles S. and Rex G., both of South Bend; Virgil C. of River Grove, Ill.; Kenneth R. of Centerline, Mich., and Richard C. of Flat Rock, Mich.; four daughters, Mrs. John Bailey of Niles, Mrs. Virgil Yaw of Union Pier, Mich., and Mrs. Gordon Enfield and Mrs. Henry Bultman, both of South Bend; 20 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Edith Houk of Buchanan, and a brother, Glenn Weaver of Jackson, Mich. Friends may call in the Hollis Chapel where services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. Quinton J. Everest, pastor of the Gospel Center United Missionary Church, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.
