Abram Chauncey was the 4th of 16 children born to Charles Gabriel Washburn and Sarah Schenck Crowder. He married Sarah Roseline "Rossie" Harrill and they had 1 child. Four years after Rossie died he married Aurie Estilla "Tillie" Hamrick and they had 6 children. They and their children left NC and settled in Georgia. He lived to be 77 years old.
