A funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church located at 220 North Street, Taft, on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. for Ella Zeller, 83. Burial will follow in the West Side District Cemetery.

Mrs. Zeller was born on December 12, 1926 in Taft and passed away on May 21, 2010 in Valley Acres.

She was raised and educated in Taft and graduated from Taft Union High School in 1945.

Mrs. Zeller was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a life member of the Eastern Star.

She was a loving mother and grandmother, who everyone loved. She was very crafty and over the years her family has several things she has made for them. She also enjoyed reading.

After retirement, she has enjoyed for 25 years traveling with her husband in their motor home.

Mrs. Zeller was preceded in death by her father, Corbet Landon; her mother and step-father, Mabrey and Fred Thomas; her granddaughter, Rebecca Joella Cates; and by her great-grandson, Dusty Thomas. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, her children, her grandchildren and their spouses, her eighteen great-grandchildren, her brother and his wife and their family, and by many nieces and nephews.

Those who wish to pay their respects may do so on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and again on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home.
