Grady LeRoy Sharpe, Sr., 62, of 103 Dubbs Drive, West Columbia, died Wednesday. Born in Metter, Ga., he was a son of Mrs. Lillian Sharpe Caraway and the late Lee Sharpe.

He was a retired cook for Toddle House Restaurant and an Army Veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Sally Ann Kallenberg Sharpe; a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Matta of Greenville; a son Grady LeRoy Sharpe, Jr. of Darlington; his mother of Cayce; Step-daughters, Mrs Deborah Bobbitt of Marietta, Ga., Mrs. Diana Branham of Blythewood and Miss Joey J. Lawson and Miss Denise Neiman of West Columbia; a step-son Jon Kilgoar of Kenistal, Ga.; sisters, Mrs. James (Juanita) Harsey of Cayce and Mrs. Henry (Louise) Lawhorne of West Columbia; grandchildren; and step-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1 p. m. Friday at Thompson Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. J. W. Williamson. Burial will be in Gibson Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
