Funeral services for Oliver W. Cannon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Cannon, 610 North Sherman ave., who died yesterday afternoon will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, at the East Side Methodist church, and will be in charge of the American Legion. Burial will be made in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Oliver Cannon was 34 years old at the time of his death and was born at Armstrong, Ia., June 27, 1888. He came to Sioux Falls when 15 years old. He served his country during the world war spending two years in the service, one of them in France.
Besides his parents he is survived by three sisters, Mrs. T. S. Birdsell, 1910 East Seventh street, Mrs. Joe Houts, 400 Jessica avenue, and Mrs. E. L. Straight, 707 South Fourth St.
