Mable Bunte, 95, of Austin peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2010. She was born in Oak Hill and what is now south Austin on July 13, 1914 to John and Alice Thurman. Mable is preceded in death by her loving husband, Willie August Bunte; daughters, Rose Marie McPhearson, Eva Jeanette Dill, Peggy Joyce Jeffries and son, Willie Earl Bunte. Mable is survived by her two sons, John Franklin Bunte of Yuma, AZ and James David Bunte, Sr. of Gainesville, GA and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and other loving family members. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 6300 W. William Cannon Dr. A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Cook-Walden Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
