At the sisters' birth, they were considered medical miracles and odds of having quadruplets babies at the time was 1 in 500,000. They performed tap dance and comedy routines throughout the U.S. in the 1930s and 1940s. They were listed several times in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the world's oldest identical quadruplets. As of June 2023, Sarah was the only one of the sisters still living.
