Casket bearers were members of American Legion post of Avon No. 579, Dr. Robert Gordon, Robert Ray, Frederick Brown, Clifford Wall, Ernest Stone and John Swanson. Interment was made in the Avon cemetery in charge of the American Legion of Abingdon, Harry E. Wiles Post No. 381, assisted by the American Legion post of Avon, No. 579.
Donald Henry Herren, 40, passed away Thursday afternoon at 1:25 o'clock at his home on Courtland street, following a heart attack. Mr. Herren was associated with his fatherinlaw, Everett Niles, in operating a feed store in Avon
