Catherine Lois Abbacchi , an executive assistant, died Tuesday (Sept. 22, 1992) at her home in north St. Louis County after a long illness. She was 63.
Mrs. Abbacchi was the executive assistant to D.W. Ryckman, president and chairman of the board of REACT Environmental Engineers in West County. She was also an assistant secretary and a member of the board of directors at REACT. She began working there in 1985.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Good Shepherd Church, 1050 Smith Avenue, Ferguson. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Math Hermann & Sons Funeral Home, 10212 Halls Ferry Road, North County. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Among the survivors are her mother, Catherine Golden of St. Louis; two daughters, Judy Sampson of South County and Nancy Abbacchi of Ferguson; a son, Mark Abbacchi of Richmond, Va.; and four grandchildren.
