Deryal Lee Wollard, 70, of Bolivar died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.

The son of Leland and Jewell Stewart Wollard, was born July 17, 1939, at Bolivar.


He married Trillma Jump April 11, 1959, and they were married for 50 years. They had three daughters, Brenda, Sharon and Connie.

He had farmed all his life and was an avid coon hunter. He enjoyed being outside with his grandchildren.

His father, Leland Wollard; sister Lela; son-in-law Scott DeArman; and granddaughter, Chelsea, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Trillma, of the home; daughters Brenda Wollard of Bear Creek, Sharon Rooffener and husband Lindsey of Humansville and Connie DeArman of Bolivar; grandchildren Jessi and Andy Winter, state of Kansas, Melissa and Michael Brown of Weaubleau, and Scottie and Julia DeArman of Bolivar; great-grandchildren Delaney, Ty, Zachary and Brianna; his mother, Jewell Wollard of Bolivar; a brother and sister-in-law, Don and Linda Wollard of Bolivar; and a sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Norman Johnson of Bolivar.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, at Murray Funeral Home, Bolivar, with cremation following.


After cremation, the family decided to purchase a plot in Salem Cemetery and his ashes were buried there.
