She retired from Sears and was a member of New Zion Baptist Church in Acworth, GA.
Funeral services at 2:00 P.M. Sunday January 10, 2010 in the chapel of South Canton Funeral Home, Rev. Mike Ware and Rev. Dan Henderson officiating.
Interment at Cherokee Memorial Park.
She was preceded in death by husband Ernest Rena Owens and son Dannie Lang Owens.
Survivors include sons Ernest (Dottie) Owens, Suches, GA, Clarence (Joyce) Owens, Marietta, GA; daughter Marjean(Edgar) Morris, Canton, GA; 7 grandchildren, 13 great-children; 11 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
