Kenneth E. Eaton 83, of Quincy, passed Friday, January 8, 2010. He was born October 17, 1926 in Woodburn, Kentucky. Kenneth was first married to Dorothy Christine (Shirrell) Eaton in 1946 and she passed away in 1967. He then married Margie R. "Marge" (Floyd) Eaton on October 14, 1968, and she survives. Kenneth retired after working 37 years at Allison Transmission where he was a machinist. He was a charter member and deacon at Marwood Baptist Church and was currently a member at Corinth Baptist Church at Plano. He enjoyed music both as a musician and singer. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His hobbies included camping, fishing, and gardening. Survivors include his wife; sons, Kenneth W. Eaton of Indianapolis, Brian (Beth) Eaton of Brownsburg; daughters, Linda (Bruce) Perkins of Indianapolis, Brenda Minor of Batesville, AR; sisters, Hazel Bryson of Bowling Green, KY, Ruth Watts of St. Albans, WV; granddaughters, Misty Cope, Beth Perkins, Audrey Eaton; grandson, David Eaton; great-grandsons, William Cope and Adam Cope. He was preceded in death by his first wife; father, Earl Eaton; mother, Edna (Owens) Eaton; brothers, William Eaton, Roy Eaton; and sister, Helen Weams.
