Harold Dannar obituary: An oilfield worker, he loved to camp and fish

Harold Eugene Dannar passed away Friday, January 1, 2010 in Pawnee, Okla. He was 79 years old.

Mr. Dannar was born May 24, 1930 in Lyman, Colorado, the son of Everett G. and Goldie Violet (Waite) Dannar. On August 1, 1950, he married the former Lois Andrews in Enid, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death October 6, 1998. Harold had worked in the oil fields for most of his life. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping and fishing. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pawhuska.

Surviving family include:

Two sons: Larry McBride and Terry Dannar; A brother: Junior Lee Dannar; Two sisters: Lou Ross and Elsie Welch; His companion: Roberta Tucker and children Janet Tucker, Susi Peters, Mark Tucker and Sam Tucker; Eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Harold was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers - Earl, Leroy and Howard Dannar; and one sister, Virginia Lovett.

Funeral services for Mr. Dannar will be held Wednesday, January 6, at 2:00 PM in the First United Methodist Church, Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Pastor Ted Hoffman will officiate. Interment will be in the Pawhuska City Cemetery.
