Donald J. Eberhart, 86, of 2020 McKinley Ave., died at 7 p.m. Sunday in his home after an illness. Mr. Eberhart retired in 1970 from Eberhart Steel Products after 25 years of service. He was born Oct. 18, 1906, in Mishawaka. He was a son of the late William and Aurilla Van Winkle Eberhart and was a lifelong area resident. On April 14, 1950, in South Bend, he married Alice Diamond. She survives with two brothers, Clem of Goshen and Ray of Mishawaka; and several nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of World War II and member of American Legion Post 303.
