Lee Edward MOON, 83, 26678 West Edison street, South Bend, died Sunday morning at his home after an extended illness. He was retired from the Bendix corporation. He was born Sept. 6, 1894 in Fulton county and had lived in South Bend since 1924, moving there from Kewanna. He was married June 12, 1927 in Kewanna to Genevieve FELTY, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. William EBBELER, Conroe,Texas; the step-mother, Mrs. Charles MOON, Rochester three half-brothers, Charles MOON, Mishawaka; the Rev. William MOON, Rochester, and Donald MOON, South Bend; a step-brother, Justin SPARKS, of Florida; a half-sister, Mrs. Dale HOFF, Kewanna; four half-sisters, Mrs. Ogden MARSH, Mrs. Ethel MATHIAS, Mrs. Hugh BALDWIN and Mrs. Frank FRETTINGER, all of Rochester; a stepsister, Ersa ENYART, Kewanna. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Welsheimer funeral home, 521 North Williams street, South Bend. Services are pending.

Services for Lee Edward MOON, 83, 26678 West Edison street, South Bend, a Fulton county native who died Sunday morning, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Welsheimer funeral home, 521 North Williams street, South bend. The Rev. Don CRABILL will officiate and burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at Osceola. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
