Millie came from a large family including siblings Dora May, Minnie, Elmer, Nellie, Florence, Lewis C., Albert, Lee, Infant, Ruth, Oliver, Alvin and Howard.
She married Earl Wasson, on 4 July 1908, in Owen County, Indiana. Three children were born of their union: Josephine L.(Antrim), Clifford E., and Paul H Wasson.
Earl's occupation was a blower in a glass factory. In November 1915 Earl Wasson died leaving Millie with three children to raise.
She married her second husband, Burton Monroe "Bert" Hatt on 7 April 1917 in Grant County, Indiana. There were no known children born of their union.
Mildred "Millie" Christenberry Wasson Hatt died in March 1977 and was buried next to Bert Hatt who had died in 1956.
