Manifest of Ship Baltic sailing 13 March 1923 from Liverpool records destination-sister, Mrs. Economplus(Doris HEPPELL ECONOMOPULOS) 56 Walnut St., Springfield, Mass. Description:5 ft. 5 1/2 inches; complexion fair; hair brown; eyes blue. She sailed with her mother, Agnes Maud JOHNSON HEPPELL age 47y and brothers, Frederick Norman HEPPELL age 14y & Sydney Edward Heppell age 20y. On 9 Feb 1924, in Enfield, Hartford Co., CT she married Charles E. WELLS. No children born to this union. Hilda Mabel was 24y 7m 15d when she died due to valvular heart disease.
She was orginally buried 11 Aug 1925 in a single grave, Woodside Ave. Later, her husband purchased a two-grave lot and remains of Hilda M. WELLS were transferred to lot 3187, May 4, 1926 (reference Work Book, pg. 262). Burial plot #3187 Charles E. WELLS 6 x 9. Charles E. WELLS is not buried here. No others are buried here.
