Mrs. Belew was a homemaker and mother, raising three children - Virglyn Amelia Meadows, Chloe Mignosa, and Timothy Belew. She also worked in the Russell Newman factory as a seamstress and for many years worked as a caregiver for her uncle. She was a member of Cooper Creek Methodist Church and the Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors include daughter Virglyn Meadows, son-in-law Robert Meadows, daughter Chloe Mignosa, son Timothy Belew, daughter-in-law Sally Belew, nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren. Mildred was also survived by so very many loving nieces, nephews cousins and numerous other relatives and life long friends.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 21, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Reverend Charles Ashby officiating. Interment will follow at the Cooper Creek Cemetery in Denton, Texas.
Memorials may be made to the Cooper Creek Cemetery Association or a charity of your choice.
