Died--At his home Sunday, Jan. 6, at midnight, Walter P. Overturf, aged 28 years, 2 months and 25 days. Deceased was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Overturf of Darby.
He was born in Thayer county, Nebraska, Oct. 13, 1872, and came to Montana in the spring of 1881 and to the Bitter Root valley the following year. He was one of our most prominent young men and leaves behind him the memory of an estimable character.
A host of friends join the bereaved family in mourning his unexpected and untimely death. The funeral services will be conducted at the Darby school house by Rev. Hubbs of Hamilton after which the remains will be interred in the Darby cemetery
