RIPLEY HORTON DIES AT AGE OF 70 YEARS Death Comes As Result of Paralytic Stroke Saturday Night.
Ripley Horton, age 70 years, passed away late Saturday evening at his home in Walnut Hills.
Mr. Horton has been suffering for some time as the result of two paralytic strokes which he has suffered. When the third stroke came Saturday death resulted quickly.
Being a member of a prominent Jackson County family, Mr. Horton was well known throughout the county. Surviving are two daughters, and two sons, Miss Mina Horton and Mrs. Cyril Mayhew and William and Oscar Horton, all of Jackson.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the home, with Rev. I.N. Grisso officiating. Interment was made in Fairmount, in charge of Funeral Director Elmer Ridgeway.
