She was born on July 13, 1956 in Clearfield, the daughter of James Carl and Hallie (Sloppy) Bloom.
Mrs. Bishop was a homemaker and had previously worked for Kent Sportswear.
She was affiliated with the Clearfield Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.
Mrs. Bishop is survived by three daughters: Jennifer M. Kitko and her husband William of Woodland, Shelly A.Toto and her husband Michael of Houtzdale and Holly L. Shoff and her husband Jason of Sanborn, five grandchildren: Britney and Breanna Kitko, Jonathan Toto and Austin and Autumn Shoff, five brothers and two sisters: Charles Sloppy and his wife Morgan of DuBois, James Bloom and his wife Judy of New Millport, Richard Bloom and William Bloom of Curwensville, Joan Hensley and her husband John of Clearfield, Judy Bloom and her companion Dave Freeberg of Clearfield and Rodger Bloom of Lewistown, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Daniel L. Bishop who passed away on Nov. 28, 2002 and whom she married on Sept. 27, 1975, and infant son, a sister, Mary Jane Bloom, a brother, Ronald Duane Bloom and two nieces: Crystal and Penny Mae Bloom.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Oct. 29 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. with Dr. Duane White officiating. Interment will be in Fruit Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Oct. 28 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m.. until the hour of services.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 119 E. Market Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
