Alfred V. Burt HOLBROOK Alfred V. Al Boogie Burt, of Holbrook formerly of Hull and Weymouth, October 10, 2009. Loving son of Debora Debi Pompeo and her husband Leo of Holbrook and Alfred Burt and Janet of Weymouth. Devoted bother of George L. Burt and his wife Melissa of Holbrook and Christopher Will of Somerville. Step-brother of Jenna and Rachel Rello of Weymouth. Dear grandson of James Vinny Mascioli of Hingham and the late Frances (Studley) Mascioli, Louise Pompeo of Braintree and the late Domenic Pompeo and the late Alfred L. and Mary F. Burt. Godson of Ellen and Michael Stein of CT. Loving Godfather and uncle of Jayden James Burt of Holbrook. Uncle of Anthony Reynolds. Also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 So. Franklin St., Holbrook (Rte 37) until 8:15 a.m. on Thursday, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Church. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. Burial in Woodside Cemetery, Cohasset. Should friends desire memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Huntingtons Disease Foundation, 6 Boston Rd., Suite 203A, Chelmsford, MA 01824. Alfred was born in Boston and spent his early years in Hull. He graduated from Blue Hills Regional High School in 2004 where he majored in auto body and was goal tender for the varsity hockey team. Alfred played football, soccer, baseball and hockey. He worked as an Auto Glass Tec. He loved spending time with his family and friends enjoying the outdoors and music and was especially fond of his dog Mick. Alfred died suddenly on October 10, 2009 at the age of 23.
