William Joseph Eaton, 77, died Nov., 9, 1999, in Colorado Springs. He was an aeronautical engineer in aircraft landing gear design. He worked for AMI Industries and served in the Navy for two years. Mr. Eaton was born March 23, 1922, in St. Paul, Ka. He was married to Virginia Dreibelbis.

Mr. Eaton is survived by his wife; three sons, Charles "Bryan" Eaton, Dr. Gary David Eaton and Edward "Scott" Eaton; three daughters, LeeAnne Ladefoged, Ellen Eaton and Martha Eaton; two brothers, Mark M. Jr. and Thomas O., 11 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

Services will be at 2 p.m., Nov. 21 at Ark of the Rockies Church, 320 N. Academy Blvd. No. 301. Burial will be in Granger, Indiana.
