Ruth Dusen Alsup, 27, of Auburn was killed at 2:45 p.m. Saturday, 12 miles west of Decatur on Ill. 36, in a truck-auto accident.
She was a vocal music teacher at Auburn Junior-Senior High School and a member of the Illinois Education Association. She graduated from SIU in 1969.
She is survived by her daughter, Amy; parents, Andrew and Ora Michelich; and a brother, Donald Dusen of Burlington, Iowa.
