T. J. House Dies After Long Illness.

Thomas Jefferson House, prominent and well known citizen of LaFayette, died at the home of his son, Henry House, in LaFayette Saturday, November 19th, at 7 o'clock a.m.
He was born February 14, 1844, and had lived in Chambers County practically all his life, having owned and operated a farm in this county for years. Since the death of his wife about one year ago he had made his home with his children in LaFayette and surrounding community.
Funeral services for the deceased were at Mount Hickory Church at 11 o'clock a.m. Sunday, November 20th, with Elders Satterwhite and Prather officiating.
He is survived by several children and grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. He was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.

Another son of Thomas Jefferson House and Mary Ann Lansford was William Joseph House (1868-1953). He married Mary Beatrice Magbee, daughter of Milton Thomas Magbee (1847-1910) who married in 1869 to Nancy Ann Hasseltine Daniel, in 1889 at Chapel Hill, Chambers Co. AL.
