Mrs. Anna C. Buck, of 614 Commercial street [614 Constitution St.], died at her residence Friday night. She has lived in Emporia many years and the news of her death will bring sadness to a wide circle of friends, Her husband, William Buck, a carpenter, died at their residence a year ago. Since that time, D. and Mrs. C.C. Slopper [Dr. and Mary Stouffer] have made their home with her. The funeral was held at the residence Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The body will be buried by the side of her husband in Maplewood cemetery.

S.A. Vincent assisted by F.J. Sauber conducted the funeral services of Mrs. Wm. Buck at the U.P. church Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Mary Stoffer (sic), Miss Kate Buck and Charles Buck are three of her children who attended the funeral. Another son, John Buck, is in Colorado. The interment was made in Maplewood.

Death of Mrs. Wm. Buck.
Mrs. Wm. Buck, one of Emporia's oldest residents, died last night at her home, 614 Constitution street, of diseases incident to old age. Mrs. Buck was 74 years old and has been an invalid for several years. The funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock at the United Presbyterian church, of which the deceased was a member. Interment will be made in Maplewood cemetery besides the remains of her husband who died about a year ago.
