P.H. Rich Dead.
Phinias H. Rich died this morning at the Topeka state hospital from the effects of a fall he sustained ten days ago, he has been in failing health since his wife's death the 22nd of last June. Mr. Rich was born in Randolph county, North Carolina, in 1826. Was married to Lucindia Mendenhay August 15, 1852. They celebrated their golden wedding two years ago. He leaves four daughters and two sons: Mrs. Ellen C. Fisher, Calvin Rich, Mrs. P.P. Hillerman, Mrs. Delie B. Meracle (sic), Mrs. S.H. Rich and Chas. M. Rich. Two sisters survive him: Lucindia Stewart, of Colorado, and Cynthia Peacock, of Indiana. Phinias Rich was a life long member of the Friends church and a devoted Christian of exemplery principals. The body willl be taken to the home of his daughter, Mrs. John L. Miracle, 517 Sylvan street, from which place the funeral will be held at 3 o'clock Sunday. Interment will be make (made) at Maplewood.
