Funeral Held for Boy Drowned While Hunting

Preston, Idaho Sept. 22-- (Special)--Two funeral services were held on Thursday for Ralph Geddes, 16, son of H. S. Geddes of Bonida, who was drowned while shooting ducks Tuesday at the Strong Arm reservoir No. 2. After services were held at Bonida, additional services were held at Preston Thursday.

The exact manner in which he met his death is not known. He left his home early Tuesday morning on horseback. It is supposed that he rode into the water for a duck he had shot and that the horse floundered, throwing Geddes. As he was a good swimmer it is thought he was struck by the horse in the fall.

The body was found 20 feet from the bank in nine feet of water.
