EASTON, Md. - Rita M. Nordike Harner, 46, of Easton, and formerly of Boonsboro, died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002, at her home.
Born Feb. 5, 1956, in Easton, she was the daughter of Roy Dean Nordike of Easton and the late Helen Rosalee Ewing Nordike.
In addition to her father, she is survived by five daughters, Laura S. Harner of Hagerstown, Julie L. Harner of Boonsboro, and Monica R. Harner, Sherry M. Harner and Sandra R. Harner, all of Easton; six sisters, Therese N. Reid of Rhodesdale, Md., Mary H. Lowery of Tilghman, Md., Carol R. Chrysovergis of Baltimore, and Jane V. Pajula, Kay E. Wilson and Joan N. Dyott, all of Easton; one brother, Joseph D. Nordike of Easton; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Nordike.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Easton. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Zeller Funeral Home, East New Market, Md.; and Saturday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the church in Easton.
