Victims of Filipinos Interred in National Cemetery.
The bodies of Leslie D. Berry and Thomas Conway, killed in the Philippines, were buried beside each other yesterday afternoon at Jefferson Barracks in the National Cemetery, Both were St. Louisans.
The funeral exercises over young Berry were conducted by the Reverend Doctor Samuel Palmer of the Lafayette Park Presbyterian Church at the home of his widowed mother, Mrs. Louise Berry, No 3029 Laclede avenue The cortege set out for the Barracks at 1 o'clock and was joined at No. 122 West Courtois street by the funeral party conducting the body of Conway.
Leslie Berry was 21 years old, but had been a soldier several years. Conway had also been in the army for some time."
