Mrs. Vicey F. Nichols, 66 of Danson & Sixteenth Street, died in a local hospital late Sunday following a brief illness. Mrs. Nichols was a native of Baker County, coming to Jacksonville 11 years ago from Union County. She was a member of the Baptist Church and leaves a host of friends who will learn with regret of her death. She is survived by four daughters; Mrs. Sim Easton Wester, Mrs. Arthur Nielson, Mrs. Maggie Dowling and Miss Sally Altman, all of Jacksonville; four sons, Daniel Lee Altman, Benjamin Altman, Leonard Ernest Altman and John F. Nichols, all of Jacksonville, three sisters, Mrs. Caroline Altman and Mrs. Alonzo Altman, Jacksonville, and Mrs. W. Ruis, Taylor, Florida; two brothers, John Walter Thompson and Elam Thompson of Taylor, Florida. The body was placed in care of the Seashole Funeral Parlors and arrangements will be announced later.
