On June 8, 1949, Maxine was united in marriage to Donald L. Lubben. Together they farmed near Strawberry Point and then moved to farm near Earlville where they currently reside. Maxine enjoyed crocheting and sewing.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Lubben of Earlville; her children, Janet Moser of Alburnett, David Lubben of Delhi, Lorna (Alan) Kirby of Strawberry Point, Pamela Lubben of Earlville, and Daniel Lubben of Earlville; eight granddaughters, 13 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Shirley Fosse of Nashua, Marilyn (Carl) Kuehl of Garnavillo, and Donna Shaw of Strawberry Point.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; and a stillborn daughter, Judith Lubben.
