Curtis D. [Clanton], 76, a resident of OKC for the past 50 years, died Dec. 1, 1999. He was born April 30, 1923 in Blanchard, OK to Albert & Lena (Porter) Clanton. Curtis worked at T.A.F.B. in Tubing and Cable for 35 years. After retiring from Tinker, he worked for Hillcrest Health Center for 10 years. He used his talents as a master craftsman and cabinet builder in remodeling Hillcrest Health Center. Curtis was also an active member of the Southern Hills Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by one infant son, Eldon; granddaughter, Misty Langerman, and his wife of 51 years, Betty L. Clanton on Dec. 5, 1995.

He is survived by his best friend and loving companion, Edna Welch; son, Keith Clanton & wife, Beverly; daughter, Connie Langerman & husband, Dr. Richard Langerman; sister, Ruby Westervelt & husband, Gene; 8 grandchildren: Dr. R.J. Langerman, Jr., Dr. Bret Langerman, B.J. Langerman, Brittany Langerman, Todd Clanton, Kyle Clanton, Christian Clanton, & Alicia Clanton; & great grandson, Jaret Clanton.

Services will be held 10:00 AM Sat, Dec. 4, 1999 at the South Colonial Chapel with burial at Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle, OK.
