Aunt Inge was my godmother, I remember her as a very kind and tender, loving aunt, who would never forget a single birthday or day of importance, she would always call and wish us well, or ask us about results of exams, having had this phenomenal memory.

Aunt Inge had a very harmonic and loving marriage with Dad's elder brother, Uncle Karl, the two of them would share everything, they were both as authentic as could be, and I was always proud of having had her as my godmother, as much as I loved my godfather, Mum's elder brother.

After my Uncle sadly passed away in 2002, my Aunt Inge was devastated at first, but soon tried to have meetings and make occasional short excursions with other widows, so we thought she had overcome the worst pain, though sometimes, on the phone, she told me just how much she missed him.

My cousin Liane, their daughter, who lived very close to them, went to see her mother to bring her her shopping, and one day, on December 18, 2004, Liane would find her mother laying in the bathroom. She had passed away from a heart attack.

I shall never forget that aunt of mine and always be glad to have had her in my life, for I love her as I do my other angels.

Another heartfelt thank you to Jim Rowe for kindly sponsoring my aunt's memorial. I know that my cousin will be completely overwhelmed. Thank you so very much !
