Janice C. (Leach) Champigny, of Warren, passed away Friday, surrounded by her loving children and family after a brief illness.
She leaves her husband Andre; her three children, Mark R. LaViolette Jr., of Warren, Jesslyn G. LaViolette of Worcester, William J. LaViolette of Ft. Campbell KY. She also leaves three brothers, David Urban of Webster, Martin Urban and his wife Nancy of Warren, and Roger Leach and his wife Mary Lou of Franklin, NH. She also leaves many aunts, uncles, nieces nephews and friends.
Janice was born in Ware on May 5, 1960 of her parents Doris and Everett Leach and lived in Warren her whole life. She graduated from Quaboag Regional High School in 1978. She worked many years at the William E. Wright Company, and also at Karl Storz Endovision Inc. in Charlton.
Janice loved the outdoors and often spent time hiking and camping at her family camp in Waterville Valley, NH, with her two faithful dogs, Molly and Sammy.
A Prayer Service will be held in Pillsbury Funeral Home, Rt. 9/Old West Brookfield Rd., Brookfield, on Wed., Dec. 17, 2008 at 7:30 PM. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5-8 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 7 Oak St., Worcester, MA 01609.
