Jim was the son of Robert Thomas Walker and Sarah Ann Margaret Powers Walker. He married Dora Alice Compton. After her death, he married Sarah Virginia McCutcheon.

DEATH TAKES J. J. WALKER

Funeral services for James J. Walker, 75, who passed away Saturday morning at his home on Somerville 2, will be held Monday at one o'clock at the Antioch Church, with Rev M. A. Creel officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Peck directing.

The deceased is survived by four daughters, Mrs Clara Engle of Auburn, Mrs Mamie Caraway, of Clemson, South Carolina, Mrs Virginia Euloe, Somerville 2; three sons, Guy Walker and Carl C. Walker, both of Somerville and Dr Erlney H. Walker of Hartselle; two brothers, C. N., Walker of Sulphur Springs, Texas and E. B. Walker of Joppa, and two sisters, Mrs Lizzie Evans of Tennessee and Mrs Media Wallace of Wylam, Ala.

Pallbearers will be Floyd Dean, Gilbert Johnson, Clifford Dunaway, H. F. Bailey, J. O. Garner and Tom Breeding.
