James Eldridge Curle, 91, of Richmond, died July 18, 2005. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Frances S. Curle; his daughter, Anita Curle Bowden and her husband, Ronald Bowden; his grandchildren, Laura Renee Bowden and Kevin James Bowden; his sister, Vivian Mae Sullivan; and nieces and a nephew. Mr. Curle was retired from American Tobacco Company and a charter member of Chamberlayne Baptist Church, where he taught a senior men's Sunday School class for many years. The family will receive friends at the Bliley Funeral Homes' Staples Mill Chapel, 8510 Staples Mill Road, on Wednesday, July 20, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and where funeral services will be held Thursday, 10 a.m. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lakewood Manor Baptist Retirement Community.
