Died, at 2:50 o'clock Monday afternoon, June 7, 1909, at St. John's hospital, of typhoid fever, Elmer P. Baker, aged 18 years, 4 months and 18 days. The young man was employed at the Illinois Watch factory and was very popular with all who knew him. He was converted during the Billy Sunday revival and was a young man of estimable qualities. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Baker, and four brothers, George, Frank, Charles and Oliver. IL State Register, Springfield, IL, 6-8-1909
